Old Town Media has worked with Points West Community Bank for years as a website provider (new website on the way!) and in 2014 we began also working with the bank to develop a larger regional presence through the use of online and offline marketing strategies.
One of our undertakings was developing a social strategy that fit with their core values and grew customer loyalty. After brainstorming with each of the branches, we opted to kick off 2016 with the theme “Taking Care of Business” which we’ve used as an overarching commonality for all of our marketing campaigns.
How we integrated “Taking Care of Business” into the bank’s social strategy:
As a local banking partner, we wanted to push that Points West is here to take care of all of its customers’ banking needs so that they have time to take care of themselves – including their health. To drive the theme home, we created a Gym Membership Giveaway Campaign leveraging the Points West Facebook page and utilizing the hashtag #TCOB2016.
How we gauged the success (thus far) of the campaign:
- We awarded our first recipient in April and she was thrilled! She is now a member of Crossfit Eaton.
- Total reach of more than 4,400 as a direct result of the campaign posts on Facebook.
- A 700% increase in sessions on the website as a result of Facebook compared to the previous year.
