The Youth Clinic
The Youth Clinic has been caring for generations of area youth for more than 50 years. With four locations and around 20 providers, The Youth Clinic has a tremendous impact on the Northern Colorado community, and we are proud to be a part of their team.
A longtime client of ours, OTM began working with The Youth Clinic in 2014 to provide them with full-service marketing including inbound marketing, digital advertising, website design and development, and more.

In 2021 we proposed a redesigned website for The Youth Clinic with a focus on creating more engaging provider bios and improved UX around their Well Care Visit and Ages & Stages content.
The website at the time had 278 pieces of content between blogs, posts, and pages (big yikes). So rather than move everything over to a shiny, new design which would solve only an aesthetic problem, we knew we needed to rethink the entire structure of the website in alignment with the user experience.
This led us to a 4-part website strategy creation project.
The Website Strategy Creation Project
Part 1. We started by creating a visual representation of what the user experience (user journey) should look like for our audience once they’ve landed on the website with an identified path toward conversion (goals and events) that was logical and could be supported by the website design and content layout.
Part 2. We created an entirely new sitemap and navigation structure complete with hierarchy and opportunities for refinement.
Part 3. We then created a homepage wireframe in alignment with the desired journey and sitemap.
Part 4. And finally, we created an outline of all of the pages from the website sitemap with direction around what content will live on those pages and how they will correlate.

Since launching the new website, we’ve seen a 37% increase in website sessions, a 6% increase in average session duration, and a 164% increase in on-page tracked events.
Additionally, organic website traffic is also up 37% and continues to see more than 15K sessions per month (October 2020 – March 2021 compared to October 2022 – March 2023).
Additionally, The Youth Clinic saw an increase of 44.64% in new patient appointment requests from the website in March 2023.
