SummitStone Health Partners

SummitStone Health Partners is the largest not-for-profit behavioral health services provider in Larimer County and one of the largest behavioral health care employers in the region. In celebration of its 65th year serving Northern Colorado and with the planned growth of adding Behavioral Health Services at the Longview Campus, SummitStone Health Partners approached OTM in 2022 to assist with creating a new website that would be more scalable and versatile in design while simultaneously improving user experience for clients, community partners, donors, and potential employees.

Brand Story & Website Redesign
Deliverables

  • Brand Story
  • Website Design & Development

Our Approach

We began our project with select exercises from The OTM Path to Growth®, including two discovery meetings, a competitive analysis, market research, a website user experience map, and an existing website audit.

We found that a lot of the pages on the website were out-of-date, unlinked, and lacked headings and other on-page SEO requirements.

Journey Map

We opted to create an entirely new sitemap and site architecture to define the user pathways we wanted to create for our target users on the website (new clients, existing clients, donors/supporters, community partners, and potential employees)

From there, we went through our brand story exercise with the team to ensure we had a solid foundation of content to pull from for the website, and then our team combed and optimized all of the content for the website.

Results

We then designed, built, and deployed the website within a truncated timeline due to security issues the team was having on the old website. The following are the objectives we completed through the design, development, and launch of the new website:

website mockup
Developed the website using a versatile and scalable WordPress theme to ensure future growth and changes were manageable by the internal SummitStone Health Partners team
laptop mockup of a website
Intentionally designed user experience with defined user paths on the website to expand the focus beyond clients to also include donors & community partners as well as potential employees
web ada guidelines
Natively improved ADA accessibility with a focus on DEI to ensure website usability regardless of a user’s background
