Google just announced a new intiative that will make your search results a whole lot smarter. They call it Knowledge Graph, and the idea behind it is that you will be able to see information about the person, place, or thing that you’re searching instead of just a list of websites that may or may not relate to the topic at hand.
The biggest piece to this puzzle is that it will show relationships in addition to simple facts and a photo about the person, place, or thing. For example, if you were to search Google for Michaelangelo, you would see relationships to his work, other Rennaisance painters, and the style of work. Tha makes it easier to find relationships and gain a deeper understanding of the topic that you’re searching.
Unfortunately, it will be a few days before it is fully rolled out to Google searchers. But, you can watch the video on it in the meantime.
