Dee is a transplant from Michigan and has a background in film and animation, photography, illustration, and design. After graduating from film school in 2007 and later earning a BFA in graphic design, Dee went on to work at a botanical garden and sculpture park, followed by freelance design and video work. Because she loves a good story, she’s also dabbled in screenwriting, stand-up, and sketch comedy on the side.

When she’s not working with video or creating content, Dee enjoys reading and exploring the trails. She’s also a former specialty baker who loves to experiment with recipes – an interest that definitely came in handy during the pandemic.
