Fort Collins consultancy advances from two-time finalist to statewide recognition for client outcomes and operational consistency
FORT COLLINS, Colo., June 20, 2026 — Colorado Companies to Watch has named OTM, a Fort Collins-based marketing and sales consultancy, a 2026 winner of the statewide recognition program that identifies second-stage companies demonstrating exceptional scale, innovation, and economic impact. The win marks the first time OTM has received the designation after earning finalist status in both 2024 and 2025.
Each year, Colorado Companies to Watch selects approximately 50 winners from hundreds of nominations submitted across the state. Judges evaluate companies on growth trajectory, operational strength, job creation, and measurable community and market impact. The program focuses exclusively on second-stage businesses that have moved beyond startup and are actively building the infrastructure for sustained growth.
"OTM started as a web development shop 18 years ago, so technology has always been our core, not an add-on," said Miles Kailburn, chief executive officer and founder of OTM. "We began building AI agents in the first quarter of 2021, a year and a half before ChatGPT launched, because we believed marketing results should come from systems and data, not just creative instinct. The discipline we built to make our own firm predictable is the same discipline our clients hire us to build for theirs."
OTM works with founders and CEOs of B2B professional services firms through its proprietary Path to Growth framework, a sequential model designed to move companies from inconsistent, founder-dependent revenue toward predictable, scalable growth. The consultancy's second annual B2B Growth and Technology Trends Report, released in April 2026, found that only one in three U.S. professional services firms has the operational infrastructure needed to scale, a gap OTM's engagements are built to close.
"This recognition reflects the team we've built and the consistency with which they show up for clients," said Kerrie Luginbill, chief growth officer and a partner at OTM. "We work in a space where results take time to compound. Earning this in the year we also published research on why most firms stall before scale feels like a validation of the work we've been doing, not just an award."
OTM has received four consecutive Inc. Power Partner Awards and has appeared on multiple Inc. 5000 lists for sustained growth among privately held companies. The 2026 Colorado Companies to Watch award was presented at the annual gala held June 19 at Wings Over the Rockies in Denver.
