A Colorado Native, Elyse was born in Boulder – don’t hold it against her – and moved to Longmont when she was 11 years old. She discovered her love for writing in high school in a creative writing class when she realized how powerful the written word can be. Fast forward to college, when she took her first marketing class and realized how powerful the combination of writing and marketing can be to relay a brand message to a variety of audiences. She ended up graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Technical Communications and a minor in Business in 2010. Since then, Elyse has held a variety of professional marketing roles working for local non-profit organizations, small businesses, and most recently a Northern Colorado marketing agency, until coming to join the OTM family. Elyse feeds off the thrill of being challenged, creative, and collaborative, which is why OTM is the perfect fit.

When Elyse is not focused on writing compelling content for our clients, she enjoys working out, working at music festivals and events around the country, and making new memories with her friends and family by traveling, going to concerts, or just simply having a cozy night in with a glass of wine.

As the Head of Marketing at Encompass Technologies, I considered Old Town Media an extension of our marketing team. OTM worked closely with us on rebranding and repositioning, multiple industry-first product launches, key industry events, and integrated demand generation campaigns while we grew our marketing team and acquired new companies.
