Terms of Service for PromptLion

Agreement to Terms
By installing and using PromptLion ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use PromptLion.
PromptLion is developed and provided by OTM (meetotm.com) ("we," "our," or "us").
Description of Service
PromptLion is a Chrome browser extension that:
- Connects to Google Sheets to display your prompt library
- Provides quick access to prompts, GPTs, agents, and delegates
- Supports both public and private Google Sheets (with OAuth authentication)
- Stores configuration locally on your device
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use PromptLion. By using the Extension, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
User Responsibilities
Google Sheets
- Ownership: You are responsible for the Google Sheets you configure with PromptLion
- Access Permissions: You must have appropriate permissions to access any sheet you configure
- Content: You are responsible for the content in your Google Sheets
- Sharing: For private sheets, you must grant OAuth permissions when prompted
Account Security
- Google Account: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
- OAuth Tokens: OAuth tokens are managed by Chrome; you can revoke access at any time
- Unauthorized Access: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use PromptLion to access sheets you do not have permission to view
- Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the Extension
- Use the Extension to violate any third-party rights
- Interfere with or disrupt the Extension's functionality
Google Services
Google Sheets API
PromptLion uses Google Sheets API and Google Visualization API to access your sheets. Your use of these services is subject to:
OAuth Authentication
- OAuth authentication is handled through Chrome's Identity API
- You grant read-only access to spreadsheets (
spreadsheets.readonly scope)
- You can revoke access at any time through Google Account settings
- We do not store or access your OAuth tokens beyond what Chrome provides
Intellectual Property
Extension Ownership
PromptLion, including its code, design, and functionality, is owned by OTM. The Extension is provided for your personal or commercial use subject to these Terms.
Your Content
- You retain all rights to content in your Google Sheets
- We do not claim ownership of your sheet data
- We do not copy, store, or transmit your sheet content beyond what is necessary to display it
Disclaimers
No Warranties
PromptLion is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of data displayed
Service Availability
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
- The Extension depends on Google's APIs, which may be unavailable or limited
- We are not responsible for Google service outages or changes
Data Accuracy
- PromptLion displays data from your Google Sheets as-is
- We do not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of sheet content
- You are responsible for maintaining accurate data in your sheets
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- OTM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension (if any)
- PromptLion is provided free of charge; use is at your own risk
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OTM, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of PromptLion
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content in your Google Sheets
Termination
By You
You may stop using PromptLion at any time by:
- Uninstalling the extension from Chrome
- Removing your sheet configuration
- Revoking OAuth access through Google Account settings
By Us
We reserve the right to:
- Discontinue or modify PromptLion at any time
- Suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms
- Remove the Extension from Chrome Web Store
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be:
- Posted in the Extension's update notes
- Reflected in the "Last Updated" date
- Communicated through the Chrome Web Store listing
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or PromptLion shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between parties
- If unsuccessful, binding arbitration in Fort Collins, Colorado
- Class action waiver: disputes must be resolved individually
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and OTM regarding PromptLion and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
